Synopsis:
This is an ideal opportunity for a junior CAD Designer who is looking to gain more CAD experience or a seasoned CAD Designer who is looking to apply their skills to renewable energy foundations and civil modeling. In all cases, the positions can be the start of a distinguished career in the exciting renewable energy industry.
Location:
The primary workplace is in Thornton, Colorado. Candidates have the flexibility to work remotely, provided they can effectively coordinate with the MST/MDT time zone schedules. Occasional travel may be necessary for face-to-face client meetings or to conduct on-site visits as project demands dictate.
Qualifications:
Associate degree, certification, or equivalent experience in drafting, civil technology, engineering technology, or a similar area of study.
Strong skills in Autodesk’s AutoCAD and Revit. Autodesk Civil 3D skills are also needed but not required at the start of position. Competence in GIS concepts and platforms is preferred.
Familiarity with or motivation to gain commanding competence in some or all of Autodesk’s AEC collection of integrated software packages is desired.
Attention to detail, quality, and safety.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
A valid driver's license in good standing with a clean driving record.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Responsibilities:
Serve the key function in planning and producing civil engineering construction documents, mostly foundation drawings, for wind farms and solar parks.
Work as part of a collaborative team of civil engineers on projects across North America.
Use various resources to assess, plan and deliver projects.
Prepare planning and design documents in close collaboration with engineers.
Prepare foundation and structural design drawings showing geometry, reinforcement, and details.
Perform zoning and other feasibility assessments for development projects.
Write and review reports and technical specifications.
Remain current with the Firm's standards for CAD production and productivity tools.
Salary, Benefits and Perks:

Work Hours:
